We manage properties that inspire

Carucel is a Norwegian real estate developer that develops, leases, buys, and sells residential and commercial properties. The company’s real estate portfolio is primarily situated in Greater Oslo and consists of everything from individual commercial sections to larger buildings. The real estate portfolio also includes assisted living apartments and logistics buildings. The company’s strategy is to buy and develop high-quality properties. The company is owned and operated by Carucel AS, which is owned by the Krefting family.

Oslobukta

Property project
At the heart of Bjørvika is Oslo’s latest hub – a nexus of culture, restaurants, shops, and experiences. The commercial district has been branded Oslobukta, where Carucel possesses 40,000 square metres of commercial property in Sørenga, Munch Brygge, Barcode, and Bispevika Nord.
Here, you can find some of the best things the capital has to offer in terms of culture, art, and culinary experiences, with the Opera House, the Munch Museum, and Deichman Bjørvika. Through leasing and development of the commercial properties in the area, we have strived to put together exciting options on the street level. Our goal has been to turn this into a new destination in the city, a cosy place to live, an exciting place to visit, and an attractive place to work.

Carucel Living

Property project
With Carucel Living, we bring innovative and digitised solutions to the fragmented residential rental market in Oslo.
The concept consists of three parts, including traditional housing rentals (Alva), co-living (LifeX), and serviced apartments with expanded services (Numa Group). Through these partnerships, the company’s ambition is to professionalise its rental activities with the aim of having the most satisfied tenants.

Nusfjord

Property project
Nusfjord Arctic Resort is located in the secluded and serene Norwegian fishing village of Nusfjord in Lofoten. Nusfjord is our passion project. It is one of the oldest and best-preserved fishing villages in Lofoten, with original fishermen’s houses, grocery stores, fish oil refinery, icehouse and boathouses.
Existing buildings are preserved and upgraded to create unique experiences here. Carucel operates the hotel facility, which offers accommodations, local food, spa services, outdoor activities, and art experiences in unique surroundings all year round. Our ambition is to preserve and further develop the fishing village in a manner that lets the world continue to be awed and learn from the destination.

Posthallen

Property project
The storied Posthallen building sits at the heart of downtown Oslo on the street parallel to Karl Johan.
Alongside tenants and the City of Oslo, we have developed the partially protected building from 1924 into a metropolitan destination with a broad selection of modern bars, restaurants, shops, hotels, and apartments. Nordic and sustainable design are at the forefront in the reinvigorated Posthallen building, where you can enjoy an international atmosphere with some of the city’s most modern concepts.
