Krefting foundation
The Krefting Foundation is a foundation with the primary goal of providing support for measures to help struggling children and youths, as well as for medical research and cultural history.
The Foundation aims to help all children and youths around the world to get the best possible starting point for their lives, to ensure that medical research can proceed at the highest possible level, and to help protect Norwegian cultural heritage sites.
Over a number of years, the Carucel group has been the most important contributor to the “A Better Life Foundation”, which builds and operates schools for children with disabilities in Burkina Faso, West Africa.
The Krefting Foundation will take over responsibility for further contributions to this project.

The Foundation was established in December 2022. Upon its establishment, assets equal to a total of NOK 300 million were transferred to the Foundation. Each year, up to NOK 5 million can be distributed for purposes defined in the Foundation’s charter.
